Sun and Clouds today and warming way up with just a small shower chance. Muggy this afternoon and continuing warm and Sunny on Thursday but naturally more Rain chances on Friday and a chance of Rain thru the weekend. They got a lot of Storms out West but we’re hoping they die down some and we are South of the Jet Stream for awhile so we get a break. Outdoors it’s warm early, we’re running late since little Sophie pulled the plug on the Computer so here’s a brief set of facts.

No Rain.
Temp. at 7 AM 69 degrees.

Barometer 30.10″ and Steady.

Humidity 85% and will be Muggy today.

Wind Southwest 6 mph and gusty today.

Warmer Today but still a good deal of Cloudiness and a 20% Shower Chance especially in the afternoon. Southerly Winds will be breezy today and the Thunderstorm Chance tonight continues to be Low at about 20%. Not really looking for any severe type conditions but you might keep a eye out for some possible Lightening danger with any Thunderstorm. We’re looking for on and off shower and Thundershower chances throughout the week. Outdoors today we had a cool night but it’s definitely warming up and we have had a Southerly Wind Shift. The Trail to the barn was still Bunny Rabbit free and I guess something has gotten to the Bunny population. Grass is growing but now under control. Little Sophie insist on following Missy but her short little legs sure have to do a lot of work to make the trip. She likes a good nap after we get back to the house. Now for the facts.

Reporting .24″ of Rain for the period. A modest amount but not enough to cause problems.
Temperature at 7 AM is a warmer 58 degrees this morning. Look for 80 degrees today.

Barometer is 30.04″ and down a bit but not a sharp drop. We will have a see saw Barometer for a few days.

Humidity is 85% here and will drop some today but generally we have a good moist atmosphere this week.

Wind is Southerly at 10mph and will be gusty today at times.

Sky is Cloudy but we will see some Sun and Clouds at times.

The Summary, Today: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

A unsettled week weatherwise but still not a lot of Rain. Have a good day.

Clouds on the increase this morning and shower chances on the increase by afternoon. High only about 65 degrees today and more shower chances tonight with a Thundershower chance later and a warm up for Tuesday. Those shower chances hang in just about all week with temps in the 80’s daytime and after tonight in the 60’s rest of the work week. We’re going to be in a Summer type pattern this week after a chilly Monday. Outdoors it’s cool but not a lot of dew this morning. There is a pretty strong storm chance 500 or so miles West of us but we don’t anticipate a severe outbreak here with our current jet stream situation. The Clouds are rolling in however and not a lot of Sun today. Our little dog “Missy” is over her tummy ache and every thing is back to normal. Sophie is wearing us out but she’s just 9 weeks old so that’s to be expected. Now those facts.

No rain in the gauge today and we had a dry weekend for a change.
Temperature at 7 AM is 45 deg. Look for only 65 today but 80 something tomorrow.

Barometer is a strong 30.25″ but starting to Fall. Not a severe dip and the approaching rain is not expected to bring severe storms with it although they have some out in Oklahoma.

Humidity is 90% and we won’t be seeing drying today. We have moisture in our area most of the week.

Wind is Calm early but a Northwest breeze will shift Southerly today and we get on the warm side of a Front that will give us Shower chances on and off for several days.

Sky is becoming Cloudy and not much Sun today.

The Summary, Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. South southwest wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

A gray start to the week but not a washout so pick your times carefully for out door activity.

Sunny and Dry here this morning since we apparently didn’t get any Rain. Temperature may hit 70 today. Cool and a chilly 44 degrees tonight and then mostly Sunny for Sunday but only 68 deg. with Northwest Wind. Some areas did get a shower last night and those folks are 3 or 4 degrees cooler this morning. Nobody got much and for now we don’t need any. We have some Rain chances Monday and maybe a better chance Wednesday but for now the weekend is going to be dry behind this fairly strong Front that came through this morning. The Barometer quickly jumped up behind the Front and we had a Northwest Wind Shift. Outdoors this morning it’s still breezy and not that cool here but we won’t warm up much, maybe 8 or 10 degrees before a Cool evening. We had some folks up the road that were in their Pool Thursday but I’m betting they aren’t today. We got some stuff to do but we had a busy week ourselves so were not running to hard or fast. My little Missy ate something that upset her tummy so she’s puny today but maybe she needs a little Daddy time since Sophie has been getting a little extra attention. Sophie is 9 weeks old so she requires, or let’s say she “commands” more attention. Missy is eating this morning however so she’s gonna be OK. We also or at least my wife spotted Herbie the Turtle crossing the South Lawn. It has to be him he’s really hard to mistake for anybody else. We had just the other day wondered how he made out with the rough Winter. He likely faired better than we did. Now for the facts.

We reported NO Rain for the period but some folks got sprinkles.
Temp. here at 7 AM is 60 degrees. If you got some Rain the evaporative cooling may have your temperature a shade cooler. Look for 70 today and 68 on Sunday. Cool nights.

Barometer is up to 30.15″ and has jumped up quickly this morning. Look for a strong stable cool weekend. Falling a bit Monday.

Humidity has dropped like a rock in this cool Northwest Wind. Only 55% this morning. Drying conditions today and Sunday.

Wind is Northwest at 12 mph. Will remain Northwest or at least Northerly for the weekend.

Sky is Clear this morning but will be Sun and Clouds later today and Sunday but more Sun than Clouds.

The Summary, Today. Sunny and breezy with a High of near 70. Tonight. Dark and Cool with a 44 degree Low.
Sunday. Mostly Sunny and about 68 degrees for the High. Sunday night Low about 48.
Monday Shower Chances and upper 60’s.

Warm weather returns for Tuesday. Have a great weekend, Happy Mothers Day to all you Mamas. Looking for you in Church on Sunday.

A Hot and Breezy Day for our Friday and a chance of Showers and maybe a Storm here and there for the overnight. High Today 88 degrees. Saturday returns Partly Sunny and a tad Cool but still we may hit 70 Saturday. The moderate High we experienced the last few days is moving East and a Low to our North and a associated Front will influence our weather tonight and give us a wind shift and a cool weekend. Outdoors this morning warm for a early May morning and we couldn’t linger long but our little world has pretty much recovered from the Heavy Rains of the last couple of weekends.

CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL RETURN SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AS AN
WEAK OVERRUNNING PATTERN DEVELOPS. MID TN WILL BE IN THE WARM
SECTOR BY TUESDAY. A FRONT IS EXPECTED TO STALL TO OUR
NORTHWEST...KEEPING AT LEAST SLIGHT RAIN CHANCES THROUGH THE
ENTIRE WEEK. WE DO NOT SEE ANY MAJOR RAINFALL AT THIS TIME.
That is from the briefing I get from the NWS. So we are in a more normal pattern for
now even if we're a shade cool Saturday and Sunday.
Now the facts.

No Rain to report once again and we don't need any so it all worked out.
Temperature at 7AM was 65 degrees. The High today will be well above normal at
about 88 degrees. Maybe only 70 on Saturday.

Barometer is dropping slowly and is 29.95" this morning.
Look for a rebound briefly Saturday then a dip on Sunday evening.

Humidity is 85% this morning and with a Southerly Flow upper and mid level
moisture is returning. Hopefully not as much as last week and that's not
expected.

Winds are South at 3 mph this morning. Look for strong winds today because
of a tight pressure gradient. Shifting back Northwest for Saturday.

Sky is mostly Clear this morning and some increase in Clouds today
and then Cloudy tonight. At least Partly sunny for Saturday.

The Summary, Today, Warm with a High of 88 degrees. Winds Southerly and breezy. Lake
Wind Advisory in effect. Tonight, cloudy with Rain Showers late, perhaps
a Thunderstorm with Low about 57 degrees. Rain ends after 4 AM.
Saturday, Cool and Partly Sunny with a High near 70 degrees. Northwest Wind.

Off and running on another Sunny and Warm Day. High mid 80’s with a few Clouds. Sunny and Hot Friday as we maybe hit 90 degrees. Showers Friday night but still looks dry but seasonally cooler for the weekend. There is a end in sight for the over grown grass situation here but we cut it on the high side and we’ll have the whole job to do over next week. The trail was still noticeably quite as we didn’t have any visitors but the birds singing and a fly over from the Ducks next door. I hear some lawn mowing going on from my neighbor down the road, they must be getting a early start. The weather is crazy everywhere, I talked to a guy on the Radio last night in Wyoming who says they are expecting Snow today. We’ll stick with Tennessee I think. Now for those facts.

No Rain to report for the previous 24 hours. Technically we don’t need any more this month but that might not be good either.
Temperature at 7AM is a warm 64 degrees. The next 2 days are going to be on the Hot side. sort of a Summer tease.

Barometer is 30.00″ and Steady for the moment . Have a Front Friday evening but hopefully not as strong as the last 2 weekends.

Humidity is 95% and Falling. Surface moisture is finally drying out some and we have good dry conditions today and most of Friday.

Wind is of course calm this morning but trending kinda Northwest today behind a dry front that passed through yesterday. Southerly Shift for Friday. Maybe a bit more breezy on Friday.

Sky is Clear and will be mostly Sunny today.

The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. South wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

So far no wacky weather in our future, just plain ho hum Spring weather. We’ll take it. Have a good one.

Another Sunny Day and Warm 86 degrees this afternoon. A few clouds but mostly sunny today and Thursday before some Rain chances on Friday night. There is a chance they clear out and mostly dry for the weekend. We resume 20% Shower chances first of the week. A bit cooler behind the front for the weekend but warming back up Monday. Outdoors today was much drier and since we’re making some progress with the grass things are looking up. We had a visit just before dark last night as a few deer came out to stroll on the freshly cut South Lawn but nobody is around this morning. Now for the facts.

Temperature is 60 deg. at 7AM and warming quickly for a hot afternoon.

Barometer is 30.00″ and a bit variable but mostly stable before we drop a bit for Fridays Frontal passage. Not looking for a lot of Rain from this one.

Humidity is 100% in the dew this morning but good drying conditions today although the more Southerly winds will return moisture over the State.

Wind is Calm early but trending Southwest today at 5 to 10 mph.

Sky is Clear and will be Mostly Sunny today and Thursday.

The Summary,Today: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming south southwest between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph.

A fine spring Day so have a good one.

Back to Sunshine and Springtime this morning. Look for a Sunny 84 degree afternoon. Clear again over night and a mid 50’s Low. Good drying conditions today and Wednesday and by Thursday it’s going to be Hot. Rain chances for the weekend. The Front this weekend is not looking to be nearly as stout as the previous two weekends. We got to stop this weekend Rain cycle. The Puppy Dog Trail is a little more passable today as we did brave the wet grass and mowed a bit, more will get done this afternoon. We didn’t encounter any critters and it’s obvious we don’t have as many Rabbits this year, at least so far. We’re hoping to get our Tomato’s out this week and maybe get back to normal here although less than 50 miles away Nashville is a disaster area. Now for the facts.

No Rain to report and maybe a few dry days ahead.
Temperature at 7AM is 53 degrees and we are heading up to about 84 this afternoon and about 57 tonight. We have a warm week ahead and may be up to 88 by Thursday.

Barometer is 30.00″ and Rising and we look for a good stable several days.

Humidity is 98% early with the dew but will be dropping quickly and we are in drying mode today and for the next couple of days.

Wind is Calm but will be Northwest and generally 5 mph or less. Trending towards a Southwest flow by later Wednesday.

Sky is Clear this morning and we will have a few Fair Weather Clouds but still expect near Maximum Sunshine next couple of days.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 57. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming southwest between 10 and 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

We needed a break from the wet stuff and this week maybe we can return to normal. We really dodged a bullet this weekend. Pray for the Flood Victims. Have a good day.

We have had a unprecedented amount of Rain over the weekend. The two day total is 6.94 inches here. The last remnants of the Rain are leaving the area and we are soggy but by Tuesday we start drying out. High today 82 degrees. Some folks West of here had over 13 inches this weekend. Outdoors this morning the trail is impassible even though we don’t have a lot of standing water. The doggies were in Puppy Pad mode yesterday. As best I can determine never in the history of Weather Records and observations have we had this much Rain in a 48 hour period. Needless to say we no longer have a deficit for the year. Now for the facts.

Reporting 3.21 inches Sunday morning and 3.73 inches this morning.
Temperature at 7 AM is 61 degrees. Look for a 82 High and mid 50’s Low this evening. Tuesday will continue to be on the warm side.

Barometer is 29.95″ and Rising. We look for a steady up swing for a few days and we need one.

Humidity is 100% and we are waterlogged. This will take a few days to moderate.

Wind is Calm but look for a generally West to Northwest today at light speeds.

Sky is Foggy this morning but we look for a at least Partly sunny day and likely Clear tonight and Sunny on Tuesday.

The Summary,Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Stay out of Nashville if you can today and the Duck River is Rising so be careful. This is yet another extreme Weather event in what has been a series of extremes the last couple of years. Stay safe and have a good day.
