12/4/08 @ 7:00 AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It looks and feels like Winter this morning, it didn’t take my little dog long to “walk” this morning. We have acquired .52 inches of rain overnight and that’s the total for the last 24 hours. Hopefully some of that will make it into Normandy Reservoir. The news is reporting we may have water restrictions if things don’t improve.

The Temperature at 7 AM was 37 deg. and it’s a damp cold morning to be outdoors.
Barometer is back to 30.00 inches after falling yesterday to about 29.90 just prior to our Cold Fronts arrival. We didn’t have a big pressure drop and pressure was stable until the front was only 100 miles out from here in Hickory Hill.
Humidity is 94% and it’s still raining a little, it will be damp all day today.
Wind is from the NW @ 7 and gusting to 10 mph. The wind has been strong since yesterday afternoon. We had gusts of 19 mph frequently. Wind shifted from Southerly to North West sometime after midnight with the frontal passage.
Sky this morning is overcast with Stratus and continuing to have light rain.
Forecast for today is Cloudy early with decreasing precipitation and some Sun possible this afternoon. Temps in 30’s all day. Winds will be Northerly and speed decreasing as the day progresses. Have a good day.
