2/4/2009 @ 7:00 AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s a bit colder than I thought it would be this morning, apparently the Jet Stream is running right through Tennessee in a North to South direction. We are getting air straight out of Canada that does not get to moderate much before it gets here. Don’t think we will make 30 degrees for our High today. Tonight we go back down to what we have this morning, a cold 15 degrees. However this will soon pass and Thursday under yet another day of Sunshine the wind will shift to the South West and we could see mid 40’s. Friday still looks to be warmer. The weather is calm around most of the country this week, it’s cold in the East and mild in the West. That will flip flop a bit towards the week end. There are a few very light flurries lingering in our dry cold air but not really worth more than a mention. I don’t see anything exciting on the horizon but perhaps we should enjoy this quit spell. Now for the facts.

Temperature is 15 degrees and rising to about 28 or so this afternoon. Low tonight down to 15 and rebound to 44 on Thursday.

Barometer is 30.45″ and Rising, just about topped out but no real dips for a couple of days.

Humidity is 68%, dry for early morning. We remain in a dry pattern today but late Thursday with the wind shift we pick up a bit of humidity.

Wind is Northwest at 6 mph and will be a bit gusty again today. Thursday afternoon we shift Southwest. The trend for a couple of days is breezy in the daytime and calm at night.

The Sky is mostly clear, but a few clouds are here and there. Same for tomorrow.

The summary for today, Mostly clear and cold. Cold tonight. Sunny on Thursday and a bit warmer. Have a good day, see ya on Thursday.
