3/19/2009 @ 7:00AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

You can’t complain much about how this day is starting out. We have a good deal of Sun in spite of a few gathering clouds. Temperature is a cool but not uncomfortable 43 degrees and just a hint of wind. The radar and satellite pictures indicate a narrow band of Showers sinking our way but I’m hoping we can catch a break and get only a little light rain if that, we are drying out nicely and I hate to see us have a relapse. But if we do get wet today the next four days look really nice if you like 60 plus weather. I personally prefer 70’s but it’s early and we have plenty of warm weather ahead in the weeks to come. We had a couple of flocks of Geese stop by the pond yesterday for a refueling stop. And I hear what sounds like another this morning. Our pond next to the house is apparently a destination stop for numerous flocks on their ways North or South and has been for the 21 years at least that we have been here. We have had many signs of Spring here in the last couple of days what with the Robins building their nest in the Trees behind the house and numerous other birds singing loudly for their mates in the morning. We also last night had a Doe standing in the driveway surveying the property as if she owned the place, and I guess in a way she does. I was coming home from Church and had to sit and wait as she SLOWLY walked off back towards the tree line. I felt it would be improper to honk the horn. Well I’m rambling again, lets get to the facts.

We did not record any precipitation for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 43 degrees. Looking for only 62 today and likely only 60’s for next several days. Low tonight about 36 or so.

Barometer is 30.15″ and has fallen some over night. Look for a rise after the front passes today. We should have good strong stable pressure for next several days if everything holds up.

Humidity is 86%, that’s drier than we have been in several days at this hour. After today I hope that trend continues.

Wind is indicating SE at 2 mph. Look for Northwest after the weather passes through. It will be mostly Northerly for a couple of days giving us cool but hopefully dry weather.

Sky is Partly Cloudy this morning but Clouds are the order for the day and on the increase. Look for them to start to break up tonight and I would like to see sun on Friday.

The Summary for Thursday is Increasing Clouds and a Chance of rain hopefully briefly sometime after mid morning. Rain ending and Clouds this evening. High of 62 and Low of 36 tonight. Friday looks Partly Cloudy and 60 degrees. Have a good day, this is the LAST day of Winter. See you next Spring.
