6/10/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We may not quite see 90 degrees today but only because we have a good chance of more clouds. And more Rain showers and Thunder Storms to go along with those clouds. We were plenty hot on Tuesday and I hit 92 here on my Sunny hill. Today tonight and especially on Thursday we have a good chance of showers and storms. Chances go down but don’t go away for the weekend. We will likely see some showers with the CMA folks in Nashville and Bonnaroo in Manchester, we usually have a good bit of rain. Actually early to mid June is just normally a showery period. We see those fall off as we get into July and until the Walking Horse Celebration here in Shelbyville at the end of August we have our hottest and driest time of the year. Nothing like a big 10 day outdoor event to draw a bit of rain. I got a E Mail from a guy in Iceland of all places who is interested in our wacky Middle Tennessee Weather patterns. I had a E Mail from a lady in Nova Scotia who knew we had some Snow and Ice here in the Winter and wanted to know if it affected the Palm trees much. I told her yep, it killed em all off years ago. You gotta drive 6 hours now to see some. Actually they have a few at our local Sonic restaurant but I’m pretty sure they fly South for the Winter. I’m rambling this morning but I’m on a roll. God Bless my 9th Grade typing teacher, she did a good job. That was way back in the days when we actually had typewriters. The Gold Finches did regain the Bird Feeder but this morning the Red Winged Black Birds are running the show. A Bird Feeder is really good cheap entertainment. It’s going to be muggy today so I need to finish up my chores early so here are the facts for Wednesday morning.

We did not report any rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM is 70 degrees. We are headed for 88 for a High and about 65 for a Low. Maybe a little cooler over night if you get a late shower.

Barometer is 29.95″ and Falling a bit more today. We will be generally unstable today and even more so on Thursday.

Humidity is 85% and Dew Point is 69 degrees. That’s uncomfortable and we will remain in the high 60 degree Dew Point range today and may get into the low 70’s, especially on Thursday.

Wind is SE at 2 mph. Varying between SE and SW but Southerly and moist. No North wind for the foreseeable future.

The Summary for today is going to be a familiar one for awhile. Hot Humid and good Shower Chances today and tonight. We will have more Clouds but still sun as well. Have a good day.
