6/13/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

The numbers are about the same this morning regarding Humidity and Dew Point but the air feels a lot cooler and at 66 degrees at 7 AM that 4 degrees cooler is making a difference. My old dog decided he wanted to get up early this morning so I had to get up early. That meant my young dog got up early as well. That’s the natural order of things around here. The end result was I caught a Young Deer grazing on the Periwinkles not 20 feet from the Front Door! Benji was as surprised as I was but he is at his best in the morning and he dispatched that pesky deer from grazing on his mommas flowers. Missy grew up apparently in the city and she just stood on the deck and had Benji’s back in case we were surrounded. Benji won the day and the Deer trotted back to the Woods. This was all witnessed by several Bunny Rabbits strategically parked on the lawn and I’m wondering if they were waiting their turn at the Periwinkles. The Red Wing Blackbirds are manning the Feeder this morning but the Birds seem to have worked out a schedule that allows everyone a chance. Those guys are consuming about a pound of seed a day now. Weather wise we have a lot of pockets of Showers and Thunder Storms to our West that pass by and over and near us from time to time. We have fairly good chances of a shower at any time today and in the afternoon on Sunday. This doesn’t mean any washouts for anybody so since we will also have a lot of Sun as well our weekend will work out OK. Now for the facts.

We reported a grand total of .02″ of Rain for the last 24 hours. We had a few close calls from showers but managed to miss most of the Rain yesterday.
Temperature at 7 AM was 66 degrees. Look for 88 today if the Sun stays out. Down to 65 tonight and about the same on Sunday. Next week is looking hot and dry after Monday.

Barometer is 29.95″ and Steady for the moment. No big moves but we have pockets of instability that come our way from time to time.

Humidity is 95% this morning. The Humidity is hanging on and will result in Dew Points this afternoon of about 70 degrees.

Wind is West at 2 mph and just enough breeze to clear away some light Fog we had early. Look for the West wind to continue at 5 to 10 today and tomorrow. maybe a bit more Northwest on Sunday.

The Sky is Partly Cloudy and we will have plenty of Clouds but a good deal of Sun as well.

The Summary for this weekend is continued Hot and Humid. Shower Chances at most anytime but especially in the afternoon and evening. Plenty of dry weather out there as well so get out and do something. Have a great weekend and I’m looking for you in Church on Sunday.
