7/9/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s a cool morning but the heat is on for today. We had a few more clouds yesterday and today you will definitely feel the Humidity return. The Winds will be trending more Easterly as the day wears on but still only 5 to 10 mph, but that’s going to begin the process of raising the Dew Point over the next couple of days and by Friday it will be muggy and more typical of July weather. I expect more clouds today and a build up this afternoon could generate a pop up shower for some folks but those will be very few and far in between. The outdoors were wet with a hefty dew load again over night. The grass did not respond as vigorously to the Rain we had Saturday night as I had hoped but it has greened up. We need another good shot of Rain and those chances do get better starting on Saturday. Not a lot going on Weatherise but that’s July, most of the time. There is a good deal of Stormy Weather in the upper mid west so in time we usually get their leftovers. Now for the facts.

No rain for the last 24 hour period.
Temperature at 7AM was 70 degrees. Heading to 92 and then down to 65 over night. About 92 on Friday. Our normals in early July average about 90 in Southern Middle Tennessee.

Barometer is 30.00″ and Steady. Not looking for any big moves today.

Humidity is 90% but burning off quickly in this Sunshine. Still we will average Dew Points in the mid 60’s today as the Relative Humidity is generally on the Rise.

Wind is Calm early but look Northeast today at 5 to 10 mph.

Sky is Clear early but look for a good deal of Clouds and Sun today. A fair amount of buildup is possible today.

The Summary for Thursday. Sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 5 mph. Tonight, Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Friday about the same with a bit more Humidity and a slight Shower chance. It’s the Dog Days of summer but in Middle Tennessee change is never far around the corner so enjoy what you got, have a good day.
