7/10/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We are noticing a few changes in our observation this morning, our current High Pressure Air mass has expanded a bit and we are reading 30.15″ this morning. That’s as high as it’s been all Summer. The Wind is Calm early but “Sources” are predicting a Southerly Shift today about 12 hours ahead of what was previously predicted. This will by Saturday reinforce the Humidity level and increase Shower chances across the Mid State. The best chances still look like Sunday so don’t cancel any of your out door plans. The Mid West and especially Missouri are having a round of rough weather this morning but I don’t see any Warnings out in that area at the moment. We may see a few Storms on Sunday near Severe Limits but that’s not looking too bad for us here in the Southern Region but be aware of what’s going on. Out Temperature’s are going to be Hot but near normal values for the next few days, but next week we may have above normal Highs. I’m praying we get some Rain before the next Heat wave. Outdoors we noticed the Dew was not quite as heavy this morning and is burning off faster. We may see a drop in the Dew Points today but by Saturday we will be muggy. I did not venture to far from the house this morning because I have a inner Ear thing going on and I’m dizzy as a Jaybird. I just had my annual physical and got a 600 dollar lab bill from my wife’s office. She says she’ll take care of it and that’s my Birthday present. “Such is my life”. Now let’s look at the facts.

No Rain to report for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM is 72 degrees. Up a couple from the last few days. High today of 92 and a Low of 66 for tonight. Generally we are warming up.

Barometer is 30.15″ and steady. Should likely not Rise much more but it will be OK by me if it does. We will watch for a drop over the weekend.

Humidity is 85% this morning but burning off once again in the Heat. Generally Humidity will be on the Rise, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Sky is Clear early but Sun and Clouds are in the Forecast. Some buildup this afternoon and more so on Saturday.

The Summary for today. Sunny, with a high near 92. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm over night. Clearing over night and Low of 66. Saturday more of the Same but more Clouds as well and increasing Shower Chances. That’s about it. Have a good day.
