7/15/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

You can feel the Humidity as soon as you open the door this morning. The Temperature is up too at 74 degrees at 7 AM. This reflects a change over from the weather of the last couple of days. Storms are likely to develop by the over night and Thursday could be Rainy and Wet. We still need some Rain for the 2nd Hay Cutting so bring on some July rain showers but let’s pray the Severe stuff doesn’t get to rough. A Strong Cold front is looking to be on track for the weekend, that’s a rare thing in July. I’m thinking we need to be on the lookout for a round of Storms as that cool air collides with our warm humid July air. The High’s for Saturday are being forecast in the LOW 80’s. That could change a bit as reality sets in but we will watch and see what develops. The mid west is still having a wet stormy Summer, we continue to lack the High Barometric Pressure set up we normally get at this time of year, The Tropics are still calm, this is a unusual Summer and I’m wondering how it will all play out. The outdoor scene continues to be much more sedate after a busy Spring season. The bird population has dispersed quite a bit as the young bids have matured and gone out into the world to start their lives. The Deer are not as active in the warmer weather and what they are up to is happening very early in the morning for the most part. I guess my big Turtle has finally decided to stay put for awhile after having made several morning treks across the Front Lawn. I suspect a Girl Turtle was possibly a motive for those long trips. The Bunny Rabbits are the most active wild life now and they are getting BIG. We have several Cattle Farmers nearby that have bumped off a good bit of the Coyote population and that has been favorable for the Rabbit’s. We continue to entertain Jessy the Dachshund and after a pretty full day Missy is worn out at bedtime. I missed her last night at about 9 PM and finally found her in her Kennel Crate fast asleep. I closed the door and she never made a sound until I called her out at 6:30 this morning. Benji however doesn’t get caught up in much excitement however and has tried to just let Missy do the entertaining. This doesn’t have a lot to do with the weather, I have a friend who keeps up with these things. Now lets look at the facts.

We did not report any Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature is 74 degrees at 7 AM and headed to 90 or so for the High. Low about 68 to 70 overnight. That’s a warm cloudy and possibly Rainy night ahead.

Barometer is 30.10″ and Steady. Look for that to Fall some during the day and this evening.

Humidity is 85% and while some of that will burn off this morning we will see much higher Humidity and 70+ degree Dew Points today and tonight.

Wind is SE at 3 mph and that’s a change over the last few days. We stay Southerly and a bit breezy at times for a few days.

Sky is Clear at 7 AM but quickly picking up clouds. A good buildup is expected today and Cloudy and warm over night.

The Summary for Wednesday. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. Southerly wind between 5 and 10 mph.Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. South wind around 5 mph.Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. We need the Rain and the weekend is looking good so there you have it. Have a good day.
