7/21/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

This morning arrives Sunny and Mild but look for our Cool spell to come to a end. The Wind is Calm early this morning but once we start to warm up the shift to Southerly Winds will herald more Humidity and a Warmer day perhaps as high as 85 degrees today. Shower chances will be on the Rise as well, we could see a pop up or two this afternoon but the best chances are for later tonight and Wednesday. Clouds will be seriously on the increase over night and Temperatures on Wednesday are mild but the Humidity will not allow it to feel as cool as the last few days. I’m not too concerned with Severe Weather since we are still fairly dry and stable here but we are always on the lookout for whatever comes along. We have a couple of acres of grass that needs to be cut before we get another shower and I guess we need to get started. The outdoors are fairly calm this morning, no wild animals encountered on our trail this morning. Now here are the facts.

No rain in the last 24 hours to report.
Temperature at 7 AM is 60 degrees after a 55 degree over night low. NWS reports we have set record Lows the last few nights. Today we will warm to 85 degrees and fall only to the low to mid 60’s over night tonight. That’s still below “Normal” for the 3rd week of July. Clouds and possible Rain keep temps down on Wednesday.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Falling. Look for a further drop today as weather approaches. Still no sign of our usual Summer pattern and the Bermuda High. Some indication now that we are entering a El Nino pattern. This coming Winter Season may be interesting.

Humidity is 80% as the morning is warming up. Look for a rise in Dew Points today and tonight.

Wind is Calm early but as I write at the 7:30 time frame I’m seeing Southeast at 4 mph. The shift has obviously occurred sometime this morning and the weather will be changing.

Sky is Clear this morning but there are Lot’s of Clouds in the Arkansas area that are heading our way. So increasing Clouds today and certainly tonight.

The Summary for Tuesday. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph.Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. South wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. So there it is one more time. Maybe our brief Dry Weather pattern is ending. Temperatures are really mild for the third week of July. This is usually our “Peak” for warm Summer temps. Have a great day we got to get “Red” out and go to work.
