7/24/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

With the exception of Calm winds this morning our observations are identical to Thursday. The Wind will be picking up shortly from the West and Northwest and we have a dry Sunny 90 degree “Normal” July day on tap. Saturday will be more of the same, at least until Saturday night when some pretty good shower chances creep back into the Forecast. This time of the year I don’t complain about any Rain that we can get so I’m still calling it a great weekend. The Barometer is still sitting on the 30.00″ mark and not looking to make any big move. The Weather Service website has a announcement confirming the El Nino has returned and will influence our weather through the Winter upcoming. This Summer is likely going to average out to be cooler than normal when the statistics are generated but most people still remember the Heat Wave and dry spell we had for a few weeks. Once again we have a heavy dew load this morning but with the Clear Sunny sky that will burn off shortly and I’m feeling well enough to take the mower out for awhile. Outdoors this morning it’s mostly the Robins grazing on the front lawns looking for their breakfast. They seem to appreciate the cut lawn since it makes it a little easier to get to what they are looking for. I believe I can hear some Turkeys in the woods this morning. It’s mating season and those guys are networking I guess. Now I need some breakfast this morning because the old blood sugar is kinda low for this hour of the day so here are the facts.

No rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature is once again 65 degrees at 7AM but looking like a 90 plus degree High today. About 62 for tonight’s Low. More of the same on Saturday.

Barometer is 30.00″ and Steady. No big moves today but maybe up a little this afternoon.

Humidity is 95% but burning off. Perhaps a bit more humidity today than yesterday. We see that rise more on Saturday.

Wind is Calm but will be 10 to 15 and West to Northwest today.

Sky is Clear but some Clouds today. Still more Sun than Clouds.

The Summary for this Friday morning. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight, Mostly clear, with a low around 62. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming west southwest between 5 and 10 mph. That Southerly wind shift will increase our Shower chances. Have a good day.
