8/6/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We are in the fog again this morning so that’s two snow days we can look forward to this winter. I see that the Barometer is still struggling but has made some upward progression this morning. We have reached 30.05″ and looking at the map I don’t see any reason why maybe that can’t rise some more today. I also don’t see why we can’t have a few dry days and some Hot Weather for those folks who don’t think we are having any Summer weather. The Wind will be mostly out of the North today but…by tomorrow afternoon we will be picking up a South Wind that could produce High Temperatures of 95 degrees on Saturday. The Crops in the field need some good hot weather and Sunshine to utilize some of the abundant Rain we have been getting. Outdoors is just sopping wet this morning so we took the high and dry route and avoided the taller grass. Not much wildlife in the morning here lately and in fact we are encountering more at night when Missy and I take our 10 O’clock stroll. Benji doesn’t usually make that one since he hits the sack about 9 PM. And he then gets me up at 6:15. Last night Missy and I heard something in the woods behind the house that sounded like something out of a horror movie. Heavy breathing and snorting it almost sounded like a Wild Hog, but this isn’t Arkansas! We both decided we weren’t going in there to find out what it was and I was glad I had the good sense to be “Packing” just in case whatever it was decided to come out of those woods. Maybe we got Yeti’s in the woods. I’m not going to look until we get a frost or two under our belt and kill some of the Chiggers. Now let’s look at the facts.

We had no Rain in the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 66 degrees. Looking for about 90 for the High and 65 or so for tonight’s Low. Likely to see 92 or better on Friday.

Barometer is up to 30.05″ and Rising. We can hopefully expect this trend to continue through today at least.

Humidity is 98% on this Foggy morning. Look for a couple of dry days and falling Dew Points.

Wind is Calm early but will be North today at about 5 mph. Looking for a shift on Friday to the South and then the Heat is on.

Sky is Foggy this morning but will be Sunny today and for the next few days.

The Summary. Today: Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 65. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph. That’s about the size of it. We got to mow some today because the grass is growing like it’s going out of style. Have a good day and watch out for the Yeti’s or Sasquatch or whatever your local monsters are. LOL
