8/13/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s cool outdoors this morning. Feeling like we may be nudging closer to Fall and Labor Day is just a few weeks away. We have a lot of Dew outdoors this morning and the evaporation of that is contributing to the cool temperature. That’s one reason the rural area’s tend to be a bit cooler. Less asphalt and concrete and more good old Terra Ferma can give you more natural temperature’s. We were out and about early enough to spot a few Deer, a Mama and Baby from the looks of it, cautiously strolling near the tree line. I’m starting to see more Spider webs outdoors and slowly but surely the signs of Summer winding down are becoming more evident. We have a couple of dry days in the forecast and a good deal of catching up to do on the chores. The tropics are still relatively calm except Tropical Depression #2 is still holding together and on a Westward course. A couple of more cloud formations on the Satellite picture need to be watched as well. This so far doesn’t look like a active Hurricane season but it only takes one, especially if it hits you or some of your family. We got to take a short trip today and get back in time to cut some grass so let’s look at those facts.

No rainfall to report for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM is 64 degrees. Unofficially we hit 59 here last night. High today of about 89 degrees and Low tonight of 60 or 62. The nights do start to get cooler in August. Or at least they have in my lifetime.

Barometer is 30.05″ and steady. No big moves in the forecast but at least it should be trending in the upwards direction.

Humidity is 90% but that will be burning off as the morning wears on. Look for lower Humidity for the next couple of days, and very meager shower chances before at least Saturday night. It’s unusual for August but we don’t need any Rain for a few days.

Wind is Calm early but will be Northerly at 5 mph or so. Saturday will see a Southerly shift that will return the Humidity and begin some shower chances.

Sky is Clear this morning. Look for a lot of Sun and only Fair weather Cumulus clouds for the next couple of days.

The Summary for today. Sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming North East around 5 mph. Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming South around 5 mph. That looks like a nice enough Forecast for a few days. Have a good day. LOL
