8/14/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

The Sun came up right on time this morning over a clear blue sky. Temperatures are on the rise and Humidity is Rising as well. We will see a Gradual shift in the Wind during the morning towards the East and ultimately the South as the day wears on. This will open the door to Gulf moisture that will contribute to our warm and muggy weekend. Shower chances are at a minimum today but will be increasing over the weekend. Don’t let a few clouds worry you though we have a ton of Sun in the forecast and just because the kids have gone back to School that doesn’t mean the Summer is over. We are still behind the curve on the grass mowing and hope to get a handle on that today. Our outdoor scene is quite today and the biggest thing I’ve noticed in the last couple of days is this enormous Spider that spins a web every evening on the Front Deck step hand rail. The web is gone every morning but reappears by bedtime every night. I guess he catches his prey that fly by after being attracted by the porch light. Oh well…Spiders gotta eat too. There is no shortage of bugs after all this wet weather. Now lets look at those facts.

No rainfall to report for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM is 72 degrees and rising rapidly to about 92 degrees. Low tonight of 65 or so. Saturday looks about the same.

Barometer is 30.10″ and Steady. No big moves but still Fairly stable for the period.

Humidity is 90% early but burning off in the Sun. We will however not fall to the low level we had Thursday. Dew points will be increasing over the weekend.

Wind is calm this morning but will be trending East and then South by tomorrow. That will allow the Humidity to increase and eventually restore Shower and Thunderstorm chances by late weekend or Monday.

Sky is Clear and will be Sunny today. Some Clouds, and those Clouds will be increasing but more Sun than Clouds most of the weekend.

The Summary for today. Sunny with a High near 92. East wind trending Southerly. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Calm wind. Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph. Have a good day. We have a lot to do today.
