8/25/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Outdoors this morning has a very late Summer feel to it. We were more easily able to visit our favorite spots since I have gotten at least part of the mowing under control. The Bird population has decreased some what from the high levels we had here in the early Summer. Nature has taken her toll on some plus as the Birds mature they don’t live in the “family groups” as much so they tend to be more spread out. The Rabbit population is still prolific but they aren’t under foot as much as they were. The Bugs are doing the best now and my Deck Rail buddy Spidey the Spider is working hard every night to keep them under control. He’s only one Spider however and he can only do so much. He may be feeding a large family however. ….In the Tropics yet another area of Clouds and Thunder Storms is trying to develop into a Tropical Storm East of Puerto Rico. San Juan is reporting water temps of 89 to 90 degrees. That’s more than enough to git ur done if you are growing Hurricanes so that will be a mess to keep a eye on. …Locally again the Barometer is up to 30.15″ and may rise some more. The pressure has been anemic all Summer long and we have been cooler and wetter to show for it. I’m not sure that’s all bad but I know that physically a lot of us function better when the pressure is up a bit. The H1N1 is hitting Bedford County hard now that School has started. We may be better off if we just go ahead and “catch it” and get it over with while it’s not killing to many folks. Weather wise we have a few more nice days still ahead and with all that said let’s look at the facts.

We reported no Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM is 60 degrees. That’s a good 10 degrees cooler than this time last month and a shade cooler than normal for late August. We can expect a High of about 90 today and a Low of 62 tonight.

The Barometer is 30.15″ and Rising. Look for a additional Rise today but nothing to extravagant.

Humidity is 90% with Dew on the ground but burning off to a Low Humidity day again with Dew Points in the Low and comfortable 60’s.

Wind is Calm early but will start out Northeast and trend Southeast as the day wears on. Only 5 to 10 mph.

Sky is Clear but will be Partly Cloudy today with more Sun than Clouds. Some Clouds increasing from the Southeast.

The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. It’s another work day today in the Sunny outdoors. Have a good day.
