Harbingers of Seasonal Change this week as Autumn is only 22 days away. Our daily average temperatures are dropping a couple of degrees this week as August comes to a end, and even at that we will be below those seasonal averages this week. A Sunny Sunrise at 6:17 AM this morning and we are getting up at about the same time as the Sun now as the days are getting shorter. We should start seeing more Deer now as we get closer to Fall. The Clear Sky may yield a few Fair weather Clouds but no Rain today or this evening and tonight if you go out I think a Jacket would be well advised. One week before Labor Day and right on Schedule we have a developing Tropical System approaching the Caribbean Sea. We will want to keep a eye on that but it’s not even a named storm yet and it’s still a good ways out there. Still I got some lucky loved ones on the Beaches this week so the level of attention goes up a bit. Now lets look at the local facts.

We did not report any rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 55 degrees. Looking for about 82 degrees today and a Low of 54 here in the country tonight. Maybe a couple of degrees warmer Tuesday.

Barometer is up to 30.14″ and Steady now. That’s about as High as the pressure has been able to make it up to all Summer. We should be Stable for a few days. Still the lack of strong high pressure leaves the door open to Frontal Systems so we will watch the mid west later in the week.

Humidity is 90% and dropping in the morning Sun. Look for a couple of days of Dry cool air here in the late Summer.

Wind is North at 2 mph this morning. Look for that Northerly wind to hold up for a few days.

Sky is Clear this morning and we will see a lot of Sun the next couple of days.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 82. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. That’s a really nice late Summer forecast for Southern Middle Tennessee. Have a great day.
