9/1/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sunshine and gentle breezes again today as we continue our unusual late Summer weather pattern. Bedford County has rolled out the Welcome Mat this week and the Weather is fully cooperating. High today of about 83 degrees and then down to 56 late tonight. We will have a few fair weather clouds today but mostly Sunny and mild conditions. The Gulf coast is experiencing more Clouds and Showery conditions at times as they are under a Frontal Boundary that runs from the Desert Southwest all the way to New England basically following the coast line. Still some Sun on the Gulf Coast today and the Rain Chances go down to a more typical 20% on Wednesday. Out in the Atlantic the Batch of Clouds that will likely become Tropical Storm Erika is showing signs of better organization. Movement is still West and per The Weather Channel, models are still conflicting on if this storm goes toward the Gulf of Mexico or the US East Coast. On the outdoor scene locally all is calm with more signs of a early Fall as on my drive to Town yesterday I saw a lot of Leaves falling on the highway. The Color may be missing from our Fall if those leaves come down to early. Now for the local facts and Summary.

We had no rain to report for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7AM was 53 degrees. Headed to 83 today and down to 56 tonight as our Temperatures moderate upwards a bit.

Barometer is a fairly strong 30.20″ and still Rising. We may top out on that Barometer today and then see some decrease in the pressure, but still very Stable for the next couple of days.

Humidity is 85% as the Sun dries off the Dew from last night. Dew Points will be in the very comfortable range again today.

Wind is still North and running about 2 mph this morning.

Sky is Clear and expecting a very Sunny day with only a few Clouds.

The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 5 mph. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph. …Those Wednesday Shower chances are nothing much to worry about. Have a good day.
