9/11/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s Foggy and Damp this morning, but as the Sun burns off some of that Fog we will once again have a Partly Cloudy morning and the return of the Isolated Rain Showers and Thunderstorms that we have experienced everyday this week so far. This current weather pattern isn’t changing for a few days as Summer nears it’s last week. We can expect a High Temperature in Bedford County of 85 degrees and then this evening the over night Low of about 63. Our Seasonal “Normals” for this week in September are 85 for Highs and 62 for the Low, so temperature wise we are just about where we could expect to be. We also are getting to the time of year when spells of wet weather are more common and this can continue well into October. So while we are several inches ahead in the Rainfall for the year and we have had some weather extremes this year, currently this weeks weather is not all that unusual, especially during a El Nino year. However, it may be a little ” ho hum” right now but in the weeks ahead we could have a interesting Fall season. In the great outdoors on the Puppy Dog Trail it’s damp and even muddy in spots. The Birds are crazy this morning and seem to be looking for Sanctuary here from the Shotguns I hear popping in the distance. They are safe here since we have declared a Moratorium on killing anything except Rattle snakes. We did last night see a glimpse in the darkness along the Treeline of a really BIG deer. At least I hope that’s what it was. Must have been a Buck, I’ve never seen one that big. My little dog Missy usually barks at anything that moves but she just slowly stepped behind me and started slinking towards home. So home is where we went. Now for today’s facts.

We reported .05″ of Rain for the last 24 hours. That was the total from at least 3 light Showers yesterday and last night.
Temperature at 7 AM was 63 degrees. Looking for a 85 High and 63 degree Low.

Barometer was up to 30.15″ and Steady. Pressure is varying either way a little but no big moves.

Humidity indicated 98% but feels more like 100%. High Dew Points and Rain chances remain for several days.

Wind is NE at 2 mph and continuing to vary from NE to SE and averaging 5 to 10 mph.

Sky is Overcast and Foggy and will be mostly cloudy today with some Sun.

The Summary, Today: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Tonight: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Calm wind. Saturday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. It’s just more of what we have had but, it’s Friday. Remember 911, don’t give up the fight. Have a good day.
