9/12/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We continue to enjoy Sunny mild mornings. Rain shower chances remain however and if you were in the Music City last night you may have seen several inches of those showers. There is a lot of weather to our South and Southwest but we are just on the edge of that and while it may get closer over the next few days our Rain chances will just remain in the 20% range until Monday. The Gulf of Mexico is a mess and the Florida Beaches will not see a lot of Sun this weekend. Around most of Tennessee the Humidity is High and those Dew Points will be in the 70’s this weekend. We are waiting for a big Cold Front to sweep this away, but while there has been no shortage of them this Summer we haven’t seen one in several days. Temperature wise we will see about 85 degrees for the High and 63 for the Low. On the trail this morning we witnessed a flock of Geese heading South. It’s getting close to Fall, I’m just waiting now for a report from the Woolly Worms. Now for some facts.

We did not report any precipitation for the last 24 hours. However Nashville had a bunch.
Temp at 7 AM was 64 degrees. Headed to 85 and then 63 tonight. About the same for Sunday.

Barometer is 30.08″ and Steady. Not a lot of Pressure but just enough to keep us Stable part of the day before the Shower buildups. There is a Low to our South that is not moving at all for a day or two.

Humidity is 95%. We will have High Humidity all weekend.

Wind is East at 2 mph. Look for Northeast to southeast winds all weekend. Speeds in the 5 to 10 mph range.

Sky is Mostly Clear in the mornings and Cloudy in the afternoons. Then some fog and clearing over night.

The Summary for the weekend. Today: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. East northeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph. Sunday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. East northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Monday more of the same. This weather pattern is getting old but at least it’s predictable. Have a good weekend. And I’m looking for you in Church on Sunday.
