9/22/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

The Summer is ending this morning and at 4:19 PM this afternoon Fall Begins. Our current weather pattern is continuing however. Thunder just before daylight and a light rain shower this morning here in North West Bedford but heavier showers once again just to our North. The rest of the day more pop up showers could occur anytime. The remainder of the week Rain chances in the 30 to 60 percent chance. This is one of the most persistent Tropical Patterns I have seen here in a long time. We did have some brief Sun late yesterday and we have some Sunny spots this morning between the showers. There is a Big House Fire in Rutherford County on Hwy 41-A this morning possibly as the result of the Lightening we had about a hour ago. So the misery continues. The outdoors scene here is soggy but we did encounter a fat little bunny rabbit this morning. Our usual haunts were too wet to pursue but we are getting by. Now for the facts.

We reported .13″ of Rain for the last 24 hours. Eight days in a row now. Fortunately we avoided the heavy downpours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 69 degrees. Looking for 81 degrees for the High and 66 for the Low.

Barometer is 30.10″ and Steady. No big moves but if anything it’s going to Fall later today.

Humidity is 100% this morning and that is not going to change today.

Wind is East Southeast at 4 mph. Looking to be Southerly today.

Sky is Mostly Cloudy to Overcast, but some Partly Sunny breaks as well.

The Summary, Today: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph. So it’s still more of the same. We do however have a Strong Front to our West that will bring us some Storm Chances later this week and then MAYBE push this mess out of here. Have a wet one. lol
