9/25/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We are fog wrapped this morning and visibility is near to nothing. The Birds are even walking as my Granny would say. The 100% humidity and still approaching slow moving Cold Front is expected to kick off heavy rain tonight and into Saturday morning. Then the Clearing can begin. We actually did not have any Rain here yesterday but every direction I traveled yesterday I ran into a hefty shower. The last 2 weeks have been a washout and the grass and weeds are a mess. So while a few ambitious souls tried to cut their smaller yards and lawns yesterday I decided to wait for a lower humidity and a drier day. Mower belts aren’t cheap and it would still need cutting again next week. But I’m thinking next week will be busy. Now since we’ve talked about this wet weather for 2 weeks I can’t think of anything else that hasn’t been said already. So here are the facts.

We did not report any rain for the last 24 hours. We just got lucky I guess.
Temperature at 7 AM is 71 degrees. Looking for 83 High and 68 Low.

Barometer is 30.10″ and Falling.

Humidity is 100%. Will be there again all day.

Wind is Calm

Sky is Cloudy and Fog. Not much Sun today.

The Summary, Flash Flood Watch Today, Tonight, and at least early tomorrow. Now the Forecast. Today: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Low around 68. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms. High near 77. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. This has to end soon. Hang in there.
