9/26/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

We have heavy rains across parts of Middle Tennessee this morning and it’s Raining here at 7 AM. We haven’t recorded a lot of Rain so far but there is a lot more to our West that has to pass through here on the way out of town. However……the light is at the end of the tunnel and we are on the way to some Sunny weather. Today we have Flash Flood Watches and some warnings. And it’s Thundering as well. But other than Rain and Lightening no windy severe weather. The absence of wind energy in these systems is one reason they have taken their sweet time moving along. So persevere to endure as they say and unless you just have to get out set at home one more day and we can maybe get this mess out of here. Outdoors on the Puppy dog Trail it’s just about impassible. The guys just want to hunt for a dry place and even Missy’s sharp nose can’t find one. Benji is stiff from all the damp weather but hopefully some Aspirin will help him. He’s 13 years old so I’m not worrying about long term side effects. Now for the soggy facts.

We reported .02″ of Rain at 7AM but it was raining then so we’ll have more for Sundays reading.
Temperature at 7 AM is 69 degrees. High of 76 today and Low of maybe 60 if we get some late night clearing.

Barometer is 30.00″ and Steady now after falling for a while. Hoping for a slight rebound Sunday and a bigger rebound by Tuesday.

Humidity is 100% again. We have a lot of water in the air and on the ground.

Wind is Calm but will range from Northwest to Southwest today and Sunday.

Sky is Overcast and Raining. But….we will see some Blue Sky by the end of the day, Maybe. And certainly on Sunday.

And the Weekend Summary, Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 76. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Tonight: Isolated showers before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph. Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Yes that Sunday Forecast says Sunny. We have another small Front on Monday with a shower chance then Cooler and Sunny for a few days. Hang in there. We’ll be watching for you in Church on Sunday.
