10/3/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s a Classic October Saturday morning with a Brilliant Blue Sky and the Dew drying off the grass. The gentle Southerly Wind kept our over night low near 46 degrees and by 7 AM we were passing the 48 degree mark and headed towards 75 degrees this afternoon. We have at least a day and a half of ideal Fall Weather. Sunday afternoon some Clouds and possible shower chances approach from the Southwest. A Wind Shift towards the West will precede the approaching clouds. This next weather influence is the remnants of a Pacific Tropical Storm that was named Olaf. Currently looks like only minor shower chances on Sunday but only if our luck changes. The first of the week looking for better Rain chances and maybe some Thunder Showers. So……let’s enjoy what we have today and whatever we can get tomorrow. The Puppy Dog Trail was dry and active with Fat Bunny Rabbits and some unidentified scents that had to be pursued by Missy and Benji even got in on the trailing action for a little bit. We slept in a bit this morning so we missed out on the Deer action. I’ve got chores to do today and I’m thinking about cleaning out the old Bird Feeder and putting that back in service since I’ve got some feathered friends looking for some bird seed. Here are the facts for Saturday morning.

Temperature at 7 AM was 48 degrees. Looking for a 75 degree High and a 46 degree Low tonight. About the same on Sunday but not as cool on Sunday night.

Barometer is 29.93″ this morning and Steady now after rising a bit the last 24 hours. Still all in all the pressure is rather anemic. This anemic pressure has allowed Frontal passages all Summer and if it continues into Winter we could be in for a interesting few months.

Humidity is 75% this morning. Low Humidity today before Moisture approaches on Sunday afternoon.

Wind is SW to South at 2 mph this morning. Speeds will be less today at about 5 to 10. A shift towards the West and Northwest will precede our next Rain chances on Sunday afternoon.

The Sky is deep Blue in the Dry air and we will have only a few Fair Weather Clouds today. Increasing Clouds on Sunday but still a mostly Sunny Day.

The Weekend Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph. Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 53. East northeast wind around 5 mph. Have a great weekend and don’t let that Shower chance on Sunday hinder your plans. I’m looking for you in Church on Sunday.
