10/7/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

The Sun is Rising over a Mostly Clear Sky with just a few departing Clouds on the eastern horizon. Sunshine will be the order for the day and even with a North Wind this morning we are hoping for a 70 degree High. Today and most of Thursday are looking Sunny but, a Southerly Wind Shift on Thursday will lead to Clouds and Rain chances later in the day. The High on Thursday may reach 80 before the Rain moves in and Friday will be a likely stormy wet day. I’m still hoping for a Sunny weekend but Saturday is a little iffy at the moment. The Puppy dog Trail this morning was muddy but the Sun helps a bit. Benji and Missy made their rounds without any encounters with wild animals. There were a few Deer standing in the Front Yard like they owned the place but they scampered off as soon as we stepped out the door. The plan here is hopefully a dry weekend will let us finally get the mower back out by Monday and then give us a couple of two or three days to get everything back in order. After that it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we had some Frost but that’s not likely. Now let’s look at the facts.

Reporting .56″ of Rain this morning. Most of that fell yesterday afternoon but we had some over night as well.
Temperature at 7 AM is 54 degrees. Looking for a 70 High and a 48 Low tonight. Maybe 80 degrees on Thursday.

Barometer is 30.05″ after a sharp Rise over night. Not going to get much Higher and will fall again Thursday evening.

Humidity is 85% and Falling with Cooler and drier air moving in for the next 24 hours or so.

Wind Shifted North over night behind the Frontal Passage. Look for a return South on Thursday in advance of yet another Front. 5 to 10 mph today.

The Sky is Mostly Clear and will be Sunny today and Clear tonight. Returning Clouds and Sun on Thursday.

The Summary for today, Today: Partly cloudy, with a high near 70. North northwest wind around 5 mph. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. Calm wind. Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming south between 10 and 15 mph. We get a brief break from the Rain for the next 36 hours or so but it looks like a wet October that’s picking up where September left off. Have good day and catch some Sun today.
