So since the Weather Service is taking this seriously I think maybe we should as well. The outdoors was windy and no tracking practice for Missy today. We had a few sprinkles this morning here but the heavy stuff is for the afternoon. Now for the facts.

We reported a Trace amount of Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 73 degrees. Looking for 85High and 52 Low.

Barometer is 29.88″ and Falling as weather approaches.

Humidity is 85% and more importantly the Dew Point is 69 degrees. That will be well into the 70’s in a few hours. That is fuel for Storms.

Wind is South at 8mph with gust to 15 mph. This will increase to some 25 to 30 mph gust later today. A Northwest shift will indicate the front has passed.

Sky is Partly Cloudy. Clouds are on the increase and we will not see clearing until later in the day on Saturday.

The Summary, Today: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 85. South southwest wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then showers likely. Low around 56. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming north northwest. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. North wind around 5 mph…..Keep aware of changing conditions today it looks like we are getting into our Fall Severe Weather Season a little early this year. I’m not really surprised.
