10/10/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

With the exception of a few sprinkles the Rain has moved on and we can expect the remainder of the day to be Cloudy and Cool. Sunday rewards us with some Sun and maybe 70 degrees. The first of the week more Rain chances are creeping in from the Southwest, maybe we can slip in a dry day but only if our luck improves. Yesterday’s Shower deposited .78″ of Rain and sent a lot of folks in Shelbyville heading for Shelter from a Radar indicated Tornado which passed over Town. No touchdown fortunately and not any damage reported except for some tree limbs and etc. The outdoors are muddy and dreary so me and the doggies and the wife are piled up in the den watching Football today. Now here are the facts.

Reporting .78″ of Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM 50 degrees. Look for 65 today and 70 tomorrow. Cool nights.

Barometer is 30.19″ and Rising but likely just about topped out.

Humidity is 90% but dropping some with the North Wind. Maybe we can dry up a bit over the next 36 hours before the wind shifts back Southerly.

Wind is North at 4mph today. Look for generally Northerly wind until Monday afternoon.

Sky is Cloudy today and will be partially clearing for Sunday. More Clouds possible on Monday.

The Weekend Summary, Today: Scattered sprinkles before 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 65. North wind around 5 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. North wind around 5 mph Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 70. North northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph. Columbus Day: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph. The weird weather just doesn’t let up. I’m looking for you in Church on Sunday. Have a good weekend!
