10/19/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sunshine and Blue Skies are the order for the day . Temperature headed to mid 60’s today and High 30’s tonight as the Wind swings around to the South. Sunny and warmer on Tuesday with Low 70’s for the High. The first Frost of the season was on Sunday Morning October 18. That first frost was about 10 days earlier than the average. Our current Sunny spell of weather should hang around until Thursday and then we have some Thunder Storm chances. The Puppy Dog Trail was Frosty this morning and we saw Deer and a few Bunny Rabbits that were out for their morning trek as well. With the promise of a Sunny Fall afternoon we have to mow the South Lawn for likely the last time this year. Tuesday and Wednesday will provide us the opportunity to get the North Lawn and all of the associated Weed Eating chores. I’ll miss the Lawn Mowing but I won’t be missing the dreaded weed eating. This week will be the opportunity to prepare for the late Fall and Winter so make the most of it. Now let’s look at the facts.

After a wet week we did not report any Rain for Sunday or Monday morning.
Temp. at 7 AM is a chilly 28 deg. Headed up to 65 today and down to 38 tonight. Tuesday maybe 75 degrees.

Barometer is a good strong 30.30″ this morning. We remain under High Pressure for several days.

Humidity is 92% this morning. We are drying up nicely.

Wind is Calm early but trending Southerly at 5 mph.

Sky is clear this morning and we anticipate several days of Sunny weather.

The Summary for Monday, Today: Widespread frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 65. South wind around 5 mph. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 38. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph. The next few days are going to be classic Fall weather for Middle Tennessee. Have a great day.
