10/28/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Low and Mid Level Clouds are hanging in Middle Tennessee this morning but Clearing is still expected by afternoon. High Temp. of 66 deg. Low tonight about 45 deg. Rain chances return by Thursday afternoon and heavy rain possible on Friday. The bad news is we were expecting the Rain to end Saturday morning and now the front has slowed a bit and it may be Showery well into Saturday evening. Mild temperatures through the week but Low Barometer and wet soggy conditions. The Out Doors here this morning was bleak and soggy. We had a period of time last night when the sky cleared and the stars were out at bedtime last night. These morning Clouds should move out this morning but Clouds return on Thursday. It’s looking now like the kids may have some showers to deal with on Saturday evening, it’s just been that kind of year. Now for the facts.

Reporting .52″ of Rain for the 24 hours ending at 7 AM this morning. Hoping for no more Rain before Thursday PM at least.
Temp. 53 deg. at 7AM and Looking for a High of 66 to 68 and a mid 40’s Low tonight.

Bar. 30.00″ and Rising for a while but no big move expected. More Lower pressure on Thursday.

Hum. 95% and while we will not likely have any Rain today we will not see any drying either.

Wind Calm but looking Southerly at 5 to 10 for the next few days, that wind will keep a moist air supply available to fuel rain showers Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Sky Overcast but some Clearing this afternoon.

The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 45. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph. Thursday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming southeast between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.Thursday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 60. South southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

We just can’t break this spell of wet weather and it may persist through the Winter so I still think we could be in for a rough Cold Season. Hang in there.
