11/2/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Blue Sky Monday morning with a gentle North Wind we are warming up to a High of 68 deg. today. Clear and Cool tonight with a 42 deg. Low. Tuesday will be Sunny but a dry Cold Front will give us Cold temps. Tues. night. The wind should pick up a bit on Tuesday and then the Coldest night of the Season in some spots with a Frost Advisory in effect for all of Middle Tennessee. We still anticipate dry weather all the way through Sunday with a slight warming trend for the weekend. We could have a classic Fall Season week and weekend. October was by some accounts the 5th Wettest October on Record. We reported a total of 6.89″ to CoCoRaHs. 21 of the 31 days of October reported at least a Trace of Rain and many days had significant amounts. Maybe that wet trend is coming to a end? Don’t bet on it yet, just enjoy this week. Outdoors this morning was wonderful. The Sun got up early and was drying off the heavy Dew and we were allowed to observe 5 young Deer playing tag on our Front Lawn. They seemed to believe they own the place and in fact they probably do. The strong winds last Friday stripped a lot of leaves out of the Trees and the Color is passed it’s peak. The next wind is expected Tuesday afternoon and that will get a lot more of them. The first week of November but it’s looking more and more like Winter here. Now for the facts.

We reported .04″ of Rain Sunday from the remnants of the Sat. morning Showers. No Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temp.38 deg. at 7 AM and heading to 68 for the High and 42 or so tonight.

Bar. 30.25″ and Still Rising. Look for a dip Tuesday then Back up as a Dry Front comes through.

Hum. 89% and Falling as the Dew burns off. Good drying conditions for the next several days.

Wind Calm but expect North at 5 mph today. Tuesday North and gusty as the Front passes.

Sky is Clear and will be 100% Sunshine today.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. Calm wind becoming north between 5 and 10 mph. Tuesday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 62. North northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

The Deer are still playing in the front yard and Missy is barking at them as she looks out the Storm Door window. Have a good day.
