11/5/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Another fine Fall Day but a fresh shot of Cooler Air gives us only a 64 deg. High. Frost tonight with Clear Sky and a 30 degree Low. Sunny and a warming trend begins on Friday with a Southeast wind. We will get close to 70 degrees on Friday and get well into the 70’s over the weekend. The Barometer is over the 30.40″ mark and we are enjoying the strongest High Pressure since the late Spring of this year. The next Rain system here has crossed the coastline in Washington State and is due here on Monday to Tuesday time frame. That system is likely to be a fast mover and then more Sunshine. Outdoors the Puppy Dog trail was alive with scents for the dogs to follow this morning and and the morning Sun was quickly drying up the dew and light Frost from a few of the Low spots. The Birds are singing a fine tune today as well. I saw my first Woolly Worm today and he was really fat and woolly, Granny would have pronounced that a sign of a rough Winter. It’s been a year of extremes so she may have been right this year. Now for the fine sunny day facts.

We did not report any rain for the previous 24 hours.
Temp. 37 degrees and headed to a 64 and 30 degree day. This from a reinforcing shot of Cool Air from a Dry Front that passed by this early morning.

Bar. 30.45″ and maybe rising some more. Enjoy this Stable pressure because this time of year it can drop fast. Hoping to keep a lot of this until Sunday.

Hum. 75% and drying out more today. The Humidity may begin to rebound after the wind shifts on Friday.

Wind Calm but will be North at 5 or so. Shifting Southeast after a Calm night.

Sky Clear and only a few passing Fair Weather Clouds if any. Maximum Sunshine today but Dark comes earlier and earlier this time of year.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 64. North wind around 5 mph. Tonight: Widespread frost. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 30. Calm wind. Friday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph. Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 41. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Have a great day.
