11/10/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Rain this morning but ending later today and Sun returns for Veterans Day. High of 64 deg. Possibly a breezy 10 to 15 mph wind as the day wears on but Clearing and 48 deg. Low tonight.
The remnants of TS Ida will be someone else’s problems by tonight. As of 7AM I recorded .05″ of Rain and rain was falling at observation time. Some possible heavier showers are on the radar in a band that might come through here about 10:00 AM or so. The whole deal is sliding off to the east and Wednesday is going to be Sunny but with a brisk cool 10 to 15 mph North wind. The remainder of the week until Sunday is looking dry but we’ll possible keep a eye on a strong system coming ashore in the Northwest that will possibly alter the schedule a bit, this time of year some things move fast and it’s a little tough to predict. The outdoors is damp and dreary so we stayed close to the house today. Maybe we won’t get too much rain and we can dry up with that sun and wind on Wednesday. Now for the facts.

We reported .05″ of Rain that fell between 5:30 and 7 this morning. This was after 8 straight dry days. We will have more to report on Wednesday.

Temp.54 deg. and headed to a 64 and 48 day. Wednesday 61 or so and Cooler Wed. night with 40 or maybe a shade less.

Bar. 30.25″ and steady in spite of the Rain. The Low formerly known as Ida is actually well to our South. Looking to not have any major pressure moves for a few days.

Hum.98% and it’s Raining. Drying conditions return on Wednesday.

Wind Calm early but stronger and out of the East and North later in the morning. Cool North wind on Wednesday.

Sky Overcast today and into the evening. Clearing and Sun on Wednesday.

The Summary, Today: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. North northeast wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. North wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 61. North wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Today will be wet and Wednesday will feel pretty chilly but dry at least. Then we have a few nice days once again. Have a good one.
