11/25/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s exactly 1 month until Christmas and the Sun is up and the Sky is Clear. We expect a seasonally mild 58 degrees this afternoon and a 38 degree Low over night. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, we may have a few more Clouds Thursday and a breezy Northwest wind. Thanksgiving day High about 50 degrees. If your driving to a destination within 500 miles or so of Middle Tennessee today no problems at least weather wise are expected. The great out doors and The Puppy dog Trail is a tad damp but the ground is firm. Missy dispatched a Kitty Cat back to his side of the fence but no wild critters are lurking around. Benji was just lagging behind a bit letting Missy do the physical work. Ben had a haircut yesterday and he probably feels a bit chilly this morning. He’ll grow back fast so maybe if the real cold stuff holds off a few weeks he won’t have to have a over coat. Benji is 13 and a half now and he’s slow but wise and he’s comfortable in the fact that he can let young Missy do the leg work and he knows he still is head dog in charge. And it’s his pillow beside my recliner. Old Benji will be hard to replace someday. Now since none of that has much to do about the weather let’s get to the facts.

Not reporting any rain for the previous 24 hours.
Temp.40deg. but warming to 58 this afternoon. Tonight 38 degrees. That’s just about where it should be for the day before Thanksgiving.

Bar.30.05″ and Rising today before Falling tonight. Still maybe not to big a drop.

Hum.90% and we dry out some today with the full sunshine.

Wind Calm but look for Southwest at 5 to 10 later.

Sky Clear today but more clouds tonight and Thursday.

The Summary, Today: Sunny, with a high near 58. West southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind around 5 mph. Thanksgiving Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 50. West northwest wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. West northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Some folks may still see a Flurry Thursday night but I expect we here are to far South. Have a great Thanksgiving. Barring some big weather developments I’m taking the day off tomorrow. I got Turkey to fry. LOL
