12/2/2009 @7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

A Rainy Gray Cool day for our Wednesday. Rain and a Brisk East Wind likely today with a 52 degree High. Rain ending tonight with a 36 degree Low and a Wind Shift Westerly but still gusty and Cold Wind Chills likely so bundle up. Thursday Sun returns at least partly but still Cold with mid 40’s temperatures. Friday night and Saturday morning could yet again yield some Snow Flurry chances but only in the higher areas I would think. Still we seem to see the Snow word passed around a little often and a little early. Strong Low pressure is moving across the region today from the South and we have a very low Barometer that may fall still more. Out doors this morning was simply a matter of making the rounds. Missy didn’t like getting rained on and she’s getting a Coat she can wear on the Cold Rainy days. A early Christmas Present. Benji is above all that and he ignored the Rain but I could tell he was ready to head back to the house. Tomorrow this little Blog begins it’s second year, and I appreciate the Emails and feedback. We probably don’t really accomplish much with this but I do manage to document the progress of the Seasons and this past year has been wacky at times. Now lets look at the facts.

We are reporting .54″ of Rain from our over night showers.
Temp.46deg. and only hitting 52 or so today. Cold tonight and 36 degrees.

Bar.29.60″ and still Falling. There is a strong Low passing through here today. We’re lucky to be on the Cold Side of this because on the South side in Florida this is generating Tornado’s.

Hum.98% and our wet weather is going to continue for a few more days.

Wind NE 2mph and looks to be Easterly and gusty later. Shift Westerly as the Low pressure passes by and still gusty.

Sky Overcast w/drizzle and Clouds remain all day. Perhaps a partly Sunny Thursday.

The Summary, Today: Rain. High near 52. East southeast wind around 15 mph becoming south southwest. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.Tonight: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. West southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

A gray day but December has some of those every year. Stay warm.
