12/3/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Cold and cloudy today with a 45 degree High. Clouds and cold tonight with a Low of about 29 degrees. That Northwest wind is cold and it’s going to be colder still on Friday. This is a preview of Winter and Friday night the Snow Flurry chances are still in the Forecast. We might venture up to 50 degrees the first of next week but wet weather is associated with that warming trend. Outdoors was mud and wet and a cold wind blowing even at 7 AM in the morning. The days of warm sun and bunny rabbits are behind us for awhile. The dogs and I are hole up in the house this morning. Now for the facts.

We reported .34″ of Rain for the last 24 hours. This from a accumulation of drizzle from most of the day and night yesterday.

Temp.38deg. and feels more like 30 with the wind. Look for 45 and 29 range today. Cooler than that on Friday.

Bar.30.00″ and Rising after a steep drop on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hum. 90% and we will remain damp today. Perhaps the wind may dry us up a bit but not much.

Wind NW 4mph and will be in the 5 to 10 mph range today and tonight. Bearing more to the North on Friday.

Sky Overcast and remaining so all day.

The Summary, Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. North wind around 5 mph. Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 27. North wind around 5 mph.

Kind of a gray spell of weather but this too shall pass. Have a good day and stay warm.
