12/4/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

It’s Cold and staying that way today. High of 41 degrees if you’re lucky. Cold tonight at about 28 degrees with Light Snow chances after mid night. Little or no accumulation expected. Some gradual clearing on Saturday but still Cold. It’s Beginning to look a Lot Like Christmas, even with 3 weeks to go. We are in the grip of Cold Canadian air and don’t see much relief before Tuesday at least. The Low last night was 27 deg. here in the Country and I really missed it yesterday when I said the High would be 45. We only hit 40 deg. for about 30 minutes and spent most of the day hovering around 39 degrees. I’m a little bit more conservative today. Out doors this gray morning the guys and I made our rounds a little more easily as the wind has died down a bit and maybe we’re a little more accustomed to the Cold. We had it all to ourselves however. I guess we’ll venture down to the Barn today to start up the Kawasaki, we’ll start up the Tractor on Tuesday when it’s a bit warmer and the Oil has warmed up some hopefully. I’m usually attentive to keeping the powered equipment in running order in Cold weather. I rode the Kawasaki to town Tuesday even though it was only 53 degrees. I guess I’m crazy but I’m consistent about it. Now lets look at the facts.

Reported a Trace of Precipitation from some mist yesterday on a few occasions.
Temp.30deg. and only look for about 41 today. Cold air remains in here for a few days.

Bar.30.25″ and still rising but a dip is in the near future. Not likely to be nearly as steep as the last one but we have some weather coming up from Texas.

Hum.85% and we are generally damp and it hurts more as we’re so Cold as well. More moisture coming this way.

Wind NW 2mph and may get back into the 5 to 10 mph range today and Saturday. We remain with the North wind and Cold until maybe a Shift Southerly late Sunday or Monday.

Sky Partly Cloudy and a little bit of clearing before more Clouds tonight.

The Summary, Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 27. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow before noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 43. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Maybe some Snow in the Air tonight. Take care of your Dogs and Cats. Stay warm.
