12/14/2009 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Mild temperatures today but after a brief break in the Rain we see chances for Showers returning this afternoon. High of 61 deg. this afternoon. Rain chances tonight but a wind shift returns cooler air for Tuesday. The break from the Cold air is very brief this time around. December is looking like some we had back in the 1960’s. Aside from this morning Thursday looks like the most favorable day this week weather wise. The out doors is a mucky mess today and the guys and I didn’t travel to far. The Bird feeder has seen a few visits judging from the shells on the ground and we must lay up a supply of seed for the Winter for the Birds that will in time become dependent on our supply of seed. In doors we got the Floor done and the Tree up and if I can manage a new Faucet Set for the Kitchen sink I’m off the hook for awhile. Now for the facts.

We reported 1.27″ of Rain on Sunday and .02″ this morning from the residual drizzle yesterday and maybe we captured some of the Fog over night, although officially that isn’t counted as Rain fall.

Temp.52deg. and headed to 61 or maybe a little more today. 45 degrees tonight but only 48 on Tuesday.

Bar.30.00″ and Steady for the moment. Not much rise today and a drop again tonight.

Hum.100% and we are WET. Not much improvement on that is expected.

Wind S 6mph and trending Southwest. Northerly shift on Tuesday will quickly cool us off.

Sky Cloudy w/Fog and while we may lose the Fog the Clouds will for the most part hang on today and tonight. Our next Sunny day may be Wednesday.

The Summary, Today: A slight chance of drizzle before 9am, then a slight chance of showers after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 61. South southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 45. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northwest. Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. North northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

One week until Winter. We have had some previews and just wait for the real show to begin. Have a good day….anyway.
