No Snow for us this morning but Cold air and maybe some Flurries tonight. High 40 deg. Low tonight 31 deg. Clouds and Cold on Sunday and still a 30% Chance of Snow on Christmas. Some folks on the East Coast are having a blizzard today. This last week leading up to Christmas will be potentially hectic but with planning and a little common sense you can have a “Real Old Fashioned Christmas” as Clark Griswold called it in the movie. The Best Gifts are from the Heart and those aren’t expensive.
Outdoors today was chilly and damp but not much wind so we bundled up and the pups didn’t seem to mind the wet ground. We got to feed the birds and checked on the salt lick, “which is getting some attention from the Deer population”, and while we didn’t encounter any critters there are a lot of tracks around indicating that the wildlife is still around. We are almost at the bottom of the Sun angle and the bottom of the year so after Monday even with 3 months of Winter we will slowly start seeing life returning to our little part of the world. Now for the facts.

We reported .46″ of Cold Rain that has fallen over the previous 24 hours.
Temp.39deg. and only looking for 40 for the High. The next few days we will have low to mid 40’s for our Highs. Cold Nights are the norm for now.

Bar.29.80″ and still falling before rebounding some for a couple of three days. Watch for a mid week drop as the system that come in for Thursday and Christmas Day and our Rain and Snow chances.

Hum.90% and wet is the word this weekend. maybe a two or three days break in the rain for the first of the week.

Wind NW 6mph and maybe a 10 to 15 mph wind during the day. We stay cold out of the North and West throughout the weekend.

Sky Overcast and not much Sun for our weekend.

The Summary, Today: A chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tonight: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. West northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. We’re staying home today and having Soup and Christmas Movie time. Looking for you in Church on Sunday. Stay safe we’re having too much tragedy this year.
