Clear but Frosty and Cold this morning. Temperature heads to mid to upper 40’s by 3 PM this afternoon. Seasonally cold tonight and then upper 50’s for Tuesday. Time to finish up that shopping. Wednesday has Rain chances returning along with mild temperatures and Christmas Eve looks like Rain and maybe even a Thunder Shower. Rain chances for Christmas Day and Colder in the evening. The only chance of Snow for Christmas here now is maybe some light Flurries late Christmas night. That’s all of course subject to change. Today on the puppy dog trail we found a lot of fog enhanced Frost and a bunch of tracks in the muddy ground. Missy wanted to pursue some of the trails but we didn’t venture to far off our usual track because even with calm winds me and Benji were cold. Now Missy is hunkered down in her Day bed and Ben is sleeping at my feet. Paula managed to take off all day Saturday and even turned the phone off so she could spend the day putting on the finishing touches of our in door Christmas decorations. Winter arrives at about 11:45 this morning. Now for the facts.
We reported .03″ of Rain on Sunday morning but not a drop today.
Temp.27deg. and heading into the 40’s today and low 30’s tonight. Those are about average to normal for the first day of Winter.
Bar.30.20″ and Rising some for the next 24 hours or so. We dip again for the middle of the week and maybe a sharp dip on Thursday.
Hum.90% but falling today and we have a couple of dry days for the start of Winter. Not to fear the South wind will soon return moisture to our atmosphere.
Wind Calm but shifting South to Southwest for a couple of days.
Sky Clear and mostly sunny today. some clouds tonight and Tuesday but still a lot of Sun on Tuesday as well I think.
The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Calm wind. Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.
Have a good day. Only 4 days until Christmas.
