After the Freezing Fog clears off we get a Beautiful Mild upper 50’s day. Tonight some Clouds gather and a Low in the mid to maybe upper 30’s. Wednesday returns Shower Chances and mild temps. Thursday we have Rain and possibly a Thunder Shower and maybe 60 degrees. It’s not looking very good for Thursday so get your stuff done so you will not be outside much. If you’re traveling be prepared and organized. Christmas Day should be calmer but Cool with temps. back down in the 40’s for the High. Beyond Christmas we have Rain and or Snow chances on Saturday and hoping for a Sunny Sunday. It’ll be on the Cool side however. Outdoors today was Cold and the ground is crunchy from the frozen fog. The steps were slick and just about everything had ice on it. We looked for some Deer early this morning but after a very active Fall they seem to have turned it down a notch. But there is still a lot going on behind the scenes where we human types don’t see. I’ve had some Raccoon problems and a friend of mine has had some serious Raccoon problems. Maybe we need to thin out the Raccoon population. I’ll bet our ancestors had the same idea. Easier said then done I guess. I’m thinking since I’m not seeing nearly as many Coyotes here lately that maybe they were keeping the Raccoon population down. We may have to ease up on the Coyotes to let things balance out. But what do I know. Now for something I do know, the Facts.

We have not had any precipitation in the last 24 hours.
Temp.27deg. and quickly warming to the upper 50’s today. We have warm air in the Mid South for a few days. It’ll end with Rain and or Snow and Cold will soon return.

Bar.30.20″ and Steady today but a downward move sometime tomorrow.

Hum.96% and that will fall off today in the warmer air but a Southwind is building moisture in the upper levels.

Wind Calm but looking Southerly and 5 to 10 today and Wednesday. Thursday may be a Windy day however.

Sky Clear w/Freezing Fog for the second day in a row. Our cold nights and the warmer air aloft are not a good combination I think. We may see some patches of that tonight but a lot of folks won’t get below freezing tonight so it’ll be less of a problem. A sunny day today but some gathering Clouds indicate a change soon coming.

The Summary, Today: Patchy freezing fog before 9am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 55. South southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph. Wednesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 44. Southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
