Mild but Windy today with approaching Rain and maybe a Thunderstorm. High near 57 degrees. Showers and some Storms tonight ending late with a 38 degree Low. Christmas Day Cool and windy. The weekend is looking cool but tranquil. Today however is anything but tranquil. Batten down the hatches for a windy day. Not a good day for Christmas Blow UP decorations. Frosty in the Front Yard is deflated and clinging to the grass. We had a limited but still dry trek this morning but the wind is strong and getting stronger. I’m heading out with the spousal unit today and we’re gonna be out all day. If we blow away we’ll be together anyway. Hope you survive the wind and rain hopefully it’ll calm down before the Big Guy flys tonight. Now for the facts.

Temp.47deg. and looking for 57 but the wind feels cold.

Bar.29.90″ and Falling throughout the day. Rebounding some on Christmas Day.

Hum.85% and the wind has dried the lower levels but plenty of moisture aloft.

Wind ESE 10mph and Wind is the story for today. Gust near 40 mph this afternoon.

Sky Partly Cloudy with Rain and Clouds on the horizon.

The Summary, Today: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Windy, with a southeast wind between 25 and 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a chance of showers. Low around 38. Windy, with a south wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.Christmas Day: A 20 percent chance of rain before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Southwest wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

We have a busy weather Day today and not the Christmas Eve I would have hoped for. But have a nice little Christmas Eve indoors. We likely will not post tomorrow unless conditions change so keep that NOAA Weather Radio on. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
