The New Year dawns Cold with a biting North Wind but some Sun to light the way this morning. Mid 30’s for Highs today and Low 20’s for Lows tonight. Winter is firmly in place for the start of the year. Extremely cold for the next several days. I’m thinking the ground will be froze up good by the middle of next week and then maybe a shot at some Snow. The Dry cold wind is well on the way to firming up the ground on the Puppy Dog Trail this morning. We’re running late after a late festive night ringing in the New Year. Yep we rang er in right. I woke old Benji up so he could say he saw his 14th New Years come in. Missy is just a young one and she was up for anything we had going on. But then she was the last one up this morning. Now I’ve got about 13 hours of Football ahead of me so let’s have those facts rather quickly this morning.

We reported .03″ of Rain and never saw any Snow flurries here.

Temp.28deg. Bar.30.35″ Hum.75% Wind NW 7mph Sky Partly Cloudy. And thanks to modern technology that was the story at 7 this morning. We didn’t quite answer the bell this morning.

The Summary, New Year’s Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. North northwest wind around 5 mph. Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 30. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

It’s cold today but this may be the warmest day we have for the next few days. Happy New Year.
