Sunny and Frosty Morning as we head up to near 52 degrees. Low tonight with some Cloudiness of about 30 degrees. After tonight the nighttime Lows will be above freezing for a few days. Expect a cloudy weekend with Rain by Saturday afternoon likely. The forecast for the 2nd half of January is looking to be warmer but possibly wetter as the door to the Cold air is expected to be closed for a couple of weeks. However February and March can still be rough and around here warmer weather in the Winter means wet and muddy in most cases. Still that will take some pressure off the Heating Bill. The Bird Feeder is doing a brisk business after we scraped out the mucky stuff and got the hopper flowing again. We have a lot of little Birds and some very colorful birds also and I’m kicking around the possibly of building a few birdhouses for the Spring nesting Season. If the weekend is as warm as predicted Benji is getting a bath. He hates them but he’s getting a bit on the aromatic side. Now let’s get those facts.

We have not reported any precipitation for the last 24 hours.
Temp.20deg. and rising quick. The warm up is on. Look for 52 and 30 kind of a day. That’s above normal for a change.

Bar.30.25″ and Steady for the moment but we will slowly see a drop over the next 24 hours. A fairly strong storm is impacting Texas but we only expect some week end rain from it.

Hum.90% and with the Southerly flow we will see a increase in available moisture.

Wind Calm early but will be Southwest at 5 mph or so.

Sky Clear but high level Clouds developing and lowering by evening.

The Summary, Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56. Calm wind. Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 52. Calm wind becoming east between 5 and 10 mph.

What a difference a few days can make.
