1/16/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Morning Clouds and mild temperature compared to what we’ve been experiencing. This gives way to rain this afternoon and Sunday but still not nearly as Cold as you would expect for January. Monday and Tuesday look Sunny and Mild with Rain mid week.We can likely expect a rain event every few days for awhile but the Cold air is staying up North for the time being. The ground really softened up after the thawing process got underway and now it’s going to soon be muddy. Not much new to report outdoors but the Deer herd has seemed to disappear her lately and the Raccoon population must have heard I was gunning for them because we haven’t seen any lately. We did smell a Skunk last night but it wasn’t too close. The little Finches are running things down at the Bird Feeder I guess at least until the bigger guys get hungry. Now for the facts.

No rain for the last 24 hours but some is on the way.
