1/19/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sun and increasing Clouds this morning but the Temperature is heading to 60 degrees today. The Rains from California impact us beginning tonight. The warm temps. will remain through the week but by the end of the week possibly a stormy end to the warm weather as the current pattern ends on Monday. We may hear some rumbles of Thunder on Wednesday but Saturday night and Sunday is what I’m concerned about for the moment. Outdoors this morning a heavy dew load from the abundant moisture but we don’t have any Fog here however some areas do report fog this morning. The ground is soft and Sun yesterday just could not make much headway on the drying process with our high humidity and Low Solar Impact angle this time of year. The Bird population must have gotten their breakfast early because with the exception of a few of our more tame friends we didn’t see many. I’ve got a couple of Mockingbirds that will practically walk right up to you and say Hi y’all. Which would be appropriate since they are the Tennessee State Bird. My little Missy dog seems to be a little depressed this week and maybe she’s needing a road trip and some one on one time. Benji on the other hand is trying to run around like a 2 year old and he’s gonna hurt himself if he’s not careful. Now for the facts.

No rain to report for the previous 24 hours.
Temp.40deg. and looking for a 60 High and 47 Low with the Clouds and Rain predicted for tonight. Mild weather temperature wise should last through this week.

Bar.29.95″ and Falling as we begin a couple of dips and rises. We will be entering a few days of unsettled weather that should culminate with a return to more Winter type conditions by the first of next week.

Hum.98% and we will have abundant moisture for the balance of the week. When the Jet Stream closed the door to the Cold air up North it opened the door to the South.

Wind S 2mph and will be generally Southerly at 5 to 10 mph.

Sky Partly Cloudy but Clouds are on the increase.

The Summary, Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. South southwest wind around 5 mph. Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. South southwest wind around 5 mph. Wednesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 58. South wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

The rain events are lining up out West and old man Winter is lurking out there somewhere as well so stay tuned for more. Have a good day.
