1/21/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

A break in the Rain this morning after a rainy night. Storms possible this afternoon as the center of Low Pressure crosses Middle Tennessee. The High today about 62 degrees. Low near 44 tonight. Sun and Clouds Friday and Saturday more Storms Sat. night. Monday more seasonal temperatures return but not the severe cold we experienced the first of the month. We had Thunder yesterday afternoon and evening but not really any severe weather. We have a fair chance of a round of the same this afternoon but with the added chance of some Hail and gusty winds. These Storms may be scattered in nature and some people likely may only have rain. Outdoors this morning was soggy after the 1.18″ of Rain and we stayed close to home today. We will monitor the NOAA Weather Radio this afternoon and if you’re in Middle Tennessee you need to as well. Now for the facts.

We reported 1.18″ of Rain for the previous 24 hours. A little over half of that fell during the overnight.
Temp.52deg. and headed to 66 today. The mild weather has as usual in January yielded Rain and some Storms.

Bar.29.65″ and that is really Low for us here. Maybe a further drop over the next 6 hours or so before the center of this Low pressure passes and begins to move away. Then a bump up before one more system comes in late Saturday.

Hum.98% and not much change anticipated.

SE 5mph and look for 5 to 10 and gusty during some showers to 25 mph. Trending West then Northwest on Friday.

Sky Overcast and Clouds all day today. Clouds and Sun on Friday. Sun and Clouds on Saturday.

The Summary, Today: Showers and thunderstorms. High near 62. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.Tonight: Scattered showers. Cloudy, with a low around 44. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest. Chance of precipitation is 50%.Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Watch out for this afternoon but it doesn’t look to be to Severe so far. Have a good day.
