2/2/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

The Groundhog isn’t going to see his shadow around here this morning. Fog and drizzle ending with a 47 degree High. Sun on Wednesday finally clears out the Snow. Rain on Thursday but Daytime High’s well above freezing. Our next Snow chance is Friday Night and Saturday morning. Seems like their is always a Snow Chance in the Forecast this Winter. We should be clear of the Freezing Rain chances for awhile. Outdoors here it’s a mixture of mud and slush. Tough getting around so were not getting around much. Maybe if the Groundhog is right we’ll be seeing some signs of Spring in the next few weeks. I’m not big on wet weather. Now today we feel like going back to bed so here are the facts.

We reported .12″ of Rain for the last 24 hours.
Temp.34deg. and we had a stable temperature through the night. Slowly rising to 45 to 47 degrees today if the Fog clears out. Low tonight about 30 degrees. Warmer still on Wednesday and some Sun.

Bar.30.10″ steady for the moment. Should get a rise through tomorrow but down again on Thursday. The weather pattern across the country is active as is the usual for this time of year.

Hum.98% and we are going to remain on the wet side until we get another shot of cold dry air.

Wind Calm but look for Northwest at 5 or so. Wednesday the trend will be more Easterly.

Sky Overcast w/Fog and not much Sun this afternoon but I’m not ruling it out either. Sun returns at least for part of the day on Wednesday.

The Summary, Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. North northwest wind around 5 mph. Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. North northeast wind around 5 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind around 5 mph. Thursday: Rain likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 48. East wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

February is a month that just has to be endured. I’ve never cared much for this month and only see it as a check off that must be credited on our way to Spring. Have a good one if you can.
