2/6/2010 @ 7 AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Clouds and Drizzle with a few token Flurries thrown into the mix. This should decrease as the day progresses. Cold and only 37 degrees with a brisk Northerly wind. Sunday will feel better with 40 degrees and some Sun at least part of the day. Our next Rain and Snow event is looking to be Monday afternoon through Tuesday so our woes continue. We may get a break on Wednesday and Thursday before more weekend precipitation of some sort. A lot of the “Amateur” stations in the Virginia area up into Southern New England are silent this morning. Hope they are doing alright. We did traverse a portion of the “Trail” this morning but I turned back after seeing our Old Mr. Gray Fox poking around down by the Barn. He was well away from the Treeline and he saw us but didn’t seem to be inclined to run off. I’m sure he’s hunting his breakfast and he’s welcome to some of our Raccoon population. Mr. Fox looks to be healthy and fed and he’s a darker color than a couple of months ago. He may be a bit muddy I guess. How do I know he’s a “He”? Just my intuition I guess. But I’m pretty sure he’s the same one I saw in November, and I bet there is a Foxy lady somewhere in those woods. Now for the facts.

We reported .43″ of Rain this morning.
Temp.32deg. and only 37 for our High today and 40 something on Sunday.

Bar.29.80″ and starting to Rise for a change.

Hum.90% and maybe we will briefly dry up a bit but don’t expect much relief.

Wind N 4mph and gusty later. Look for a shift Southerly on Monday as the Rain returns.

Sky Overcast and maybe a few breaks today but more Sun on Sunday.

The Summary,Today: A 30 percent chance of snow flurries before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. North northwest wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph. Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. North northwest wind around 5 mph. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Monday: A 20 percent chance of rain after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph.

Not much of anything good to say about the Weather her lately but this pattern will change in time. Have a good weekend and hope to see you in Church on Sunday. And you will almost never hear me say this but GO COLTS. For once I hope Peyton has a good day. LOL
