2/17/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Sunshine and mostly Clear Sky this morning and we hit the upper 30’s. Some clouds will remain but the Flurries are ending. Thursday more Sun and we’re generally looking at a warming trend but still Cold nights. After a couple of dry days the Rain chances return for the weekend along with Snow chances during the night time hours but not any major stuff on the horizon for the time being. Outdoors today the Snow is mostly gone but still a few lingering patches that will be departing today. We saw a couple of Squirrels running around this morning and I am wondering if they are looking for a meal or if they are taking advantage of what looks to be a nice day. The grass or what’s left of it could use some Sun and we might even see some actual drying conditions for a change. The Sun is coming up earlier and it feels this morning like maybe we are emerging from our dark and snowy Winter. However March has her share of surprises. Now for the facts.

We reported only a Trace Amount of precipitation from our Flurries yesterday.
Temperature at 7 AM is 26 degrees here but that’s going to be rising to the upper 30’s this afternoon. Cold tonight in the mid 20’s.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Steady but stable for the next couple of days. A “change” on the horizon for the weekend but maybe not too big a deal compared to what we have had.

Humidity is 80% and dropping in the Sunshine. We might see some improvement on our damp conditions.

Wind is mostly calm but some occasional West to Southwest breezes at 2 to 3 mph. Later look for Westerly and 10 to 15 mph.

Sky is Clearing this morning. We may see some Cloudy patches today but for the time being Sun and Blue Sky. More Sun on Thursday.

The Summary, Today: Sun and Clouds, with a high near 37. West northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

If you have a case of Cabin Fever today and Thursday may be some relief so get out and move around. Have a good day.
