3/1/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

High Clouds this morning but Sun peeking through after a relatively mild night and a 30 degree Low. Today expect 45 degrees with increasing Clouds. Late tonight some Rain or Snow chances but not expecting a accumulation. Tuesday will be messy with Snow and Rain chances but no accumulation expected. Temperatures should be in the low 40’s. Wednesday looks to be Cloudy but precipitation should be ending and then Thursday will be Sunny. Friday and Saturday will be Sunny and Temperatures in the 50’s. I hope Saturday holds up because I have about a hundred miles of Motorcycle trip I have to make. We’re 19 days short for the Spring Equinox and one year ago today there was 7 inches of Snow on the ground but looking back 4 weeks to the day later I was mowing grass and there was not much letting up from there on. We have had a rough Winter but the end is in sight. Now for the facts.

We have not had any precipitation to report for the previous 48 hours.
Temperature at 7AM was 30 degrees. We didn’t really fall below that over night. Expect low to mid 40’s today and about 32 tonight.

Barometer is 30.05″ and Steady at the moment. We will fall a bit today and Tuesday but nothing to severe. More Stable and Higher pressure expected for the second half of the week

Humidity is 85% this morning. Some increase in upper levels today but on the surface we are still fairly dry most of today.

Wind is calm early but will be North to Northeast today. Speeds in the 5 mph to 10 mph. No shift off the Northerly for the next few days.

Sky is Mostly Cloudy early but some Sunny breaks this morning and then more Clouds tonight and Tuesday.

The Summary, Today: Cloudy, with a high near 45. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of snow late. Cloudy, with a low around 32. North northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday: A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 43. North wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Locally I’m not expecting much if any Snow but you might see some flakes at your house. The ground has warmed somewhat over the last several days. Have a good day.
