3/10/2010 @ 7AM in Bedford County, Tennessee

Clouds and mild temperatures this morning. We had a brief heavy shower last night but not looking for much Rain today. Overnight late and Thursday morning we’re looking at a Frontal Passage and some Storms. Not much extremely severe weather but it’s getting that time of year so have the NOAA Weather Radio on for sure. Out doors here is still not extremely muddy and maybe we can get a few chores done without getting muddy. The Water is out this morning and our neighbor bless his heart we rarely really see each other much was walking his line to the meter and my little dog was making off like she was a big dog. Fortunately since we both don’t have any pressure it must not be our lines but the water companies problem. We did after several days accumulate another lone pair of Geese on the Pond this morning. i don’t know if they are stragglers or scouts but they were flying around honking like mad early this morning. Now for the facts.

We reported .11″ of Rain for the previous 24 hours.
Temperature at 7 AM was 54 degrees. We were in the 50’s all night. It’s been awhile since we had a night that warm. With Clouds today after a warm start we likely still hit 65 degrees for our High.

Barometer is 29.85″ and Falling. We have a Front approaching and a Low Pressure area close by for a few days that will send some waves of Weather our way.

Humidity is 85% and likely to see some higher Dew Points today. A lot of the light rain Tuesday didn’t make it to the ground. We are more moist now and any that come our way later today will hit the ground.

Winds are South at 5 mph and will be gusty later. Late tonight especially gusty so bring in the trash cans and etc.

Sky is Cloudy and not much Sun today or in the near future. We will have a few brief breaks but not any really Sunny days until the middle of next week.

The Summary, Today: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms. Low around 55. South southeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon. High near 71. South southwest wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Watch out for the late over night storms they are the worst kind I think. It’s warmer just about every day now so at least the Furnace gets a break.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE LATE TONIGHT.
AS A RESULT, WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE MID
STATE. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY EVEN BECOME SEVERE, ESPECIALLY IN
AREAS ALONG AND NEAR THE TENNESSEE RIVER. HEAVY RAIN AND PONDING
OF WATER ON ROADS MAY ALSO OCCUR WITH THESE STORMS.

Have a good day and now I hope they get my water fixed cause I need a Shower. LOL
